3127

Great Plains Audio’s Model 3127 Low Frequency Loudspeaker is designed to provide excellent low frequency performance in applications requiring high efficiency and linear response with low distortion.

When used as an integral component of an 8127 Loudspeaker System (a 1.5-cubic foot vented enclosure), the full capabilities of the GPA Model 3127 Low Frequency Loudspeaker are achieved. This system provides a 3-dB down frequency of 70 Hz with an optimum Thiele-Small alignment without compromising linearity or efficiency, or introducing distortion.

The product of extensive research by acoustical engineers, the GPA Model 3127 utilizes significant advances in many areas, most notably with regard to linearity and power handling. The long voice coil geometry of the Model 3127 reduces distortion found in similar products from other manufacturers by increasing the diaphragm’s linear motion. It also helps boost power handling capabilities through increased heat dissipation.

An exceptional performer, the Great Plains Audio Model 3127 Low Frequency Loudspeaker also boasts our famous rugged dependability via a structurally reinforced, die-cast frame, a ferrite magnetic structure, and super high-temperature voice coils for dependable, long-term performance under the most demanding conditions.
